Family arrested on sexual abuse charges

Five members of a Missouri family are being arrested on multiple sexual abuse charges, investigators are searching for bodies on the property that once belonged to the family. This shocking story caught my attention because this had been occurring from the mid 1980s to 1995 or more and no one has stepped up till now. 77 year old Burrell Edward Mohler and his four sons are being held in the Lafayette County Jail.
A 26-year-old woman came to the police station in August claiming she had been rapped and forced to have an abortion when she was twelve. Her grandfather, father, and three uncles rapped and had sexual performances with her and her six siblings. All six children have approached authorities and confirmed the alleged abuse by all five men, three of whom were lay ministers with the Community of Christ Church. Investigators are also looking for glass bottles were the children would write notes, they were told if they wrote memories down they’d go away. Burrell Mohler Jr.’s wife of four months, told authorities that she believed the charges were untrue and all because of a long feud with the ex-wife.
Authorities have been looking back at missing people reports around the area and are asking anyone who knows someone that disappeared in that area to come forward. They are also asking for the public to help find more possible victims. The 50 acre land is being dug up; penetrating devices, cadaver dogs and a front loader were bought onto the grounds that currently owned by different people.
This horror story will hopefully end soon for the victims of the family and justice served. If someone has been abused or knows of abuse don’t hesitate to speak up, it’s never just one person, people like this never stop at one.

This is absolutely DISGUSTING! These men are absolutely ridiculous! They deserve to be locked away. The fact that they are raping children is horrible and forcing them to get an abortion! They are a family that has problems so they need some family counseling because it’s obviously an issue in the family. I honestly feel sorry for these men because the fact that they feel the need to force sexual acts upon innocent children is sick and shows that they are tortured souls. They are obviously desperate. I’m sorry to be rude or inappropriate but if these men need children to fulfill their… “Needs” they obviously can’t find someone who will… “Love” them and fulfill their…uhh…”Needs”. Three of these men are MINISTERS! This is against their churches beliefs! They will be punished for this! And I believe that if they aren’t punished for this by the law or court, then God will punish them.

Wow, this is just extremely disgusting!!! They’re family, and family raping family is so insanely gross and very wrong, dare I say even worse than just rape. These guys are just ridiculous and in my opinion, deserve to be locked away for the rest of their lives!!! The idea of raping your own family member is one horrible thing, but getting them knocked up, and then making them get an abortion has got to be the absolute worst. Honestly, I feel terrible for the victims and hope they find some help if this caused any psychiatric trauma or anything. It really disturbs me that if a guy can’t find anyone to fulfill his sexual needs, he could turn to his family members as a last resort or something. Really now, if you can’t get anything, don’t go and rape your family! At least go do something that is less disturbing and less horrifying. Go buy a prostitute or something, if you are of legal age and in a place where such things are legal.

This is the most SICK and TWISTED thing i ever heard….these people sexually abused people in their family and got her pregnant. Its bad enough if you get sexually abused by someone that you dont even know but someone in your family that does it to you and get you pregnant can really ruin your life. And the police is searching their homes for their bodies is really horrible because they killed women in their family that most likely loved and were really close to them and had them sexually abuse and killed them and the only thing most people can think about when they read this is the hurt and pain on these women’s faces will they were being abused and in pain…

It is nasty how her own father raped her. Her family is messed up and very disgusting. She was 12 and raped ? It is even worse than no one in her family stopped them.
