What went right and what went wrong during the Varsity football game against Escalon?
“We competed hard. They are ranked #9 in the state. Everyone played hard and not a lot of penalties were committed. It was 7-0 in the second quarter and we had two opportunities to tie in second quarter. Leading the defensive side was Alonzo Johnson with 17 tackles and Ahmad Malik with 20 tackles.”
What went right and what went wrong for the JV football team against Escalon?
“JV competed hard, but had a number of kids sick and injured.”
What went right and what went wrong during the freshmen football game against Escalon?
“Freshman won 20-0 with combination of Ryan Lewis and DJ Dartin running the ball. They’re a good one-two punch.”
What do you expect from the Varsity football team in their game against River City this Friday?
“I expect a high level game, a good size crowd, good energy, and I expect us to defend our home turf.”
Who are some of our upcoming opponents and what do we need to watch out for?
“Dixon and Rio Linda. Rio Linda beat Roseville. They are both very tough league opponents.”
What prediction do you have for our upcoming game against River City?
“It will be a hard fought game. Our kids need to focus and our coaches need to work hard to get kids ready. Our coaches work hard to get kids ready. In the league opener and home opener I predict we will win.”
What areas do you think we need to improve in to better our team?
“Our Knowledge of the game because we are going to learn X and O’s in the game. Varsity is much faster so we need to get that experience.”
What went right and what went wrong during the Varsity Soccer games at the Franklin tournament?
“We progressively improved during the tour. Nothing really went wrong.”
How has JV Soccer been doing?
“JV has been doing okay, but we need to do more passing play.”
Who are some of our upcoming opponents and what do we need to watch out for?
“Dixon and Antelope are two power houses in our league.”
What areas do you think we need to improve in to better our team?
“Pick up the pace and continue working on our passing game.”
What prediction do you have for our upcoming game against West Campus?
“Based on our last game I hope we continue making improvements.”
