COHS Women’s Basketball Preview and WNBA Finals Update

Hey basketball fans!  Have you been watching the WNBA Finals as much as I have?  The two teams that made it to the finals are the Indiana Fever and the Arizona Mercury.  Both teams have fought hard to make it to where they are today.  I personally have been watching the WNBA Finals because my favorite team made it there.  The FEVER!  If you haven’t been watching, here is an update.
                                 Game 1: IND 116, AZ 120
                                 Game 2: IND 93, AZ 84
                                 Game 3: IND 86, AZ 85
                                 Game 4: IND 77, AZ 90
       This series is a nail biter! It is tied 2-2. Basketball season is on its way for COHS! The first practice is on Wednesday, November 8, 2009.  The first game of the season is on Tuesday, November 24, 2009.  All girls at all levels should start conditioning. Run, do some polymetrics, speed drills, and shoot some hoops.  If you want to play preseason basketball, contact the head coach, Coach Chapin.  This season there will be many challenges to win ball games. Hopefully you all are up for the challenge.  If the team works hard and is determined, we could be really successful and finish at the top of our league.  We can’t wait to see the Lady Wolfpack on the court!
