Can Our Wolfpack Dominate like The Lakers?

I want to show you that our high school can have a good basketball team, and to do this I would like to compare the Los Angleles Lakers to our Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack.  I am talking about the most famous NBA team in the world when I mention the Los Angeles Lakers.  They show their greatest performance to win their championship.  One of the players from this team shows great determination and skills.  He is very passionate about basketball, and he gets his teammates involved in the game by passing the ball and by being a leader.  This player is Kobe Bryant.  He has been the next Michael Jordan for his team.

Last year in 2009, when the Lakers played against the New York Knicks, Kobe played one of his best games! That was Kobe Bryant.  When he played against LeBron James, his defensive play was very good. James could not block Kobe’s shots because Kobe dribbled very fast and moved too quick for him to guard.  He did many of his amazing fade away shots in front of his opponents when they put their hands to cover Kobe’s face.  It works well for him.  At the championship where the Lakers played against the Orlando Magic, the Lakers were leading three games to one.  The reason why they were winning was because Kobe got his teammates more involved, which made the Lakers a stronger team.  The Lakers ended up becoming the champions of the NBA 2009 Finals.

How can our basketball team become better and more competitive?  This is our Wolfpack team, and we want to win.  We want to act like wolves and stick together as a pack.  As a team, we can be strong and support each other.  With these skills, we may become champions.  If we can mimic the Los Angeles Lakers, then other schools will be no match for our school.  I want to join the basketball team here at Cosumnes Oaks High School so I can practice becoming a team player like Kobe Bryant.  We want to put our school sports on T.V. Sports shows.  We want to become the champions for the 2009-2010 seasons.
