My name is Maren Chewning, I’m 16 years old, and I’m a junior at Cosumnes Oaks. I’m an only child, but I have family who live all over the country. I have been to New York, Hawaii, Colorado, and Nevada, and I plan to travel to places in Europe, Asia, and Africa. I enjoy photography, hanging out with friends, baking, playing volleyball, and making memories. Some of my favorite movies are 10 Things I Hate About You, Breakfast Club, Back to the Future, Lion King, and Disturbia. I don’t like to read much, but my favorite book is Perfect Chemistry. I listen to music every day, all day. I think clouds and stars are the most beautiful things. I can watch re-runs of One Tree Hill and Buffy the Vampire Slayer all day long, and I love reading National Geographic Magazines. I look up to my parents for support and advice, and they are the most amazing, fun, and strong people I know. I’m going to college after I graduate high school, I’m going to have a memorable life, and I’m going to leave this world feeling successful and happy.
