Hana Hajjar feels that she’s the spokeswoman for all the women in the world because she has has the knowledge to do so. However, it has been affecting both genders. She likes drawing, because she provokes people so that she can get others attention. Hana says, “I like to draw thought-provoking and argument-provoking caricatures. I like to see how much I can push people to think, but am mindful never to cross societal red lines,” some of the people in Saudi Arabia feel that this might inspire some of the women to do well and use their creativity for good purposes because for a long time caricature drawing has been known to be a man’s profession only, which discouraged women from doing it.

My opinion of this article is that she is doing a good job in reaching out and showing the women that they have the skills to really try and do what they want to do. I honestly think that she doesn’t need to go so far and provoke men. Hana should have just written an article and not have tried so hard to provoke men. If I was Hana, I would have just called the women together and told them that it was important to speak out and use their skills to their advantage. Also I would help them try to do their own thing, and motivate them. But Hana might have provoked them because she was mad at the fact that the men were getting all the attention and she didn’t agree.

We are similar in some ways because, if I were mad I would probably think about doing the same thing, but I wouldn’t take it that far. I think that the women in her community are happy that she is speaking out on their behalf.
